We welcome members of the university and the public to many events throughout our academic year, from September to July. For upcoming events, check our Events page and Alumni page.

• lunch-hour lectures and evening lectures in the auditorium
  
• Dalhousie's annual Open House for prospective students, in late October
  
• graduation exhibition and Convocation Tea, during the week of May convocation
• curated exhibitions of design work by architects and others in the Exhibition Room
• reviews of student design work in the Exhibition Room
  
• temporary constructions on the front lawn (and elsewhere in the province and beyond) by architecture students
• School of Planning's annual conference, in early March
• receptions for alumni in the Exhibition Room (and in other North American cities)
• conferences and symposia open to the public
• admissions advising and building tours for prospective students, arranged through the Architecture office (arch.office@dal.ca) or the Planning office (planning@dal.ca)
  
• open courses that introduce other undergraduate students to architecture or planning
