Colibri Software, located in Wolfville, Nova Scotia, celebrates a million dollar business milestone with the launch of a mobile app for the Agricultural Campus of Dalhousie University.
This app will deliver content to students and visitors as they interact with the university gardens on the Ag Campus.
Using Colibri's simple, crowd sourced “get your community on the map” software, instructor Jeffery Morton will be able to quickly set up and manage content destined for the phones of his students. Quizzes and other classroom content will be delivered based on students location.
The public is invited to join instructor Morton and Dr. Read, founder of Colibri Software, for the product launch starting at 10AM in Truro, NS at the Agricultural Campus Community Open House Thursday July 24th.
Last week Colibri attended the International Start-Up Festival in Montreal to showcase the mapping system. Colibri invites Nova Scotia municipalities and businesses to enquire about this simple mapping system.
As energetic employers of youth, Colibri Software was invited to present its philosophy of engagement at the recent Summit On Youth In The Nova Scotia Economy at Dalhousie University. That philosophy as a response to the One Nova Scotia report can be found at http://medium.com/p/e3a6165717b3
