5 ways to get involved with the Office of Sustainability...
1. Current Employment Opportunities
Each year the Office of Sustainability employs students for part-time and full-time positions to work on a variety of exciting and engaging projects. Check the Dalhousie Career Services website for job postings with the Office and subscribe to the Sustainability News @ Dal blog to receive notifications of job postings. Interested in volunteering? Contact the Office at rethink@dal.ca to inquire about the many different ways you can help out and further enhance sustainability on campus.
2. Need to write a research paper on sustainability?
The Office can help you out! You can meet your course requirements and contribute to building the Office's resources by looking at sustainability issues on campus. We have a list of student project ideas for every discipline. Check out previous projects students have worked on. Please email rethink@dal.ca for assistance.
3. Start or join a Rethink team
Start or join a Rethink Sustainability Team and compete for a chance to win the Rethink Sustainability Trophy at the end of the semester. Check out the Rethink Section of the website for further information.
4. Nominate someone for a Sustainability Award
The Office of Sustainability regularly hosts competitions for sustainability awards. The office awards ceramic travel mugs to individual members of the Dalhousie community who have made a special effort to contribute to our sustainability goals.
