Getting Around
Dalhousie University is located in the south end of Halifax, about a half hour drive from the Halifax Stanfield International Airport, and a 15-minute walk to downtown—close to great shopping, restaurants, entertainment and hotels. For more information, please visit the Destination Halifax website.
Getting to campus
- Driving directions - Using our interactive campus map, select the "Get Directions" tab along the top
- Metro Express - If you are arriving by air, Metro Transit provides a limited-stop bus route that links the Halifax Robert L. Stanfield International Airport to the downtown core.
- Airport Taxi - Most taxi companies servicing the airport charge a flat rate of $60 to travel to the city
