CMC Research Institutes, Inc. (formerly Carbon Management Canada, an NCE dedicated to addressing industrial greenhouse gas emissions) continues to engage in a number of national and international fora with an objective of strengthening collaborative research capacity. Through our ongoing activities associated with the North American Energy Ministers Trilateral in Mexico City and Natural Resources Canada we were asked to reach out to our network.
The Carbon Sequestration Leadership Forum is an important international body advancing international collaboration regarding carbon capture and storage and enhanced oil recovery.
Their Academic Community Task Force is working on increasing coherence of academic research related activities in associated fields.
This questionnaire (pdf) will help connect your institution with potential international opportunities.
When filling out the attached form, please consider all departments within your institution that may incorporate training relating to these fields within their courses, not just courses dedicated to the topics. Also, please consider that these may extend well beyond physical/applied sciences to policy, economics, communication and public engagement studies.
Best regards,
Richard
PS – if your researchers are working on technologies that are relevant to industrial greenhouse gas emissions reductions, please encourage them to get/remain in touch with us.
