The Schulich Ocean Studies Centre (SOSC) Initiative has just issued a call for applications for its graduate student and postdoctoral fellow exchange program. Applications for spring/summer 2015 are due by March 1, 2015.

The SOSC Initiative brings together marine scientists and researchers from Israel and Dalhousie University to undertake joint marine research projects, student internships and field courses in both countries.

The Initiative offers fully-funded graduate student and PDF research exchanges between Dalhousie University and the Interuniversity Institute for Marine Sciences (IUI) in Israel, for the purpose of studying the North Atlantic and/or the Red Sea ocean environments. The initiative will cover the costs of travel, accommodations, insurance, stipend, and associated research requirements (bench fees).
