German Mobility and Research Funding Opportunities

An information session is being presented by staff from the Canadian Information Centre of DAAD, the German Academic Exchange Service. DAAD is Germany's national agency for the support of international academic cooperation and exchange. At this information session, DAAD staff will provide details of funding opportunities open to Canadian faculty in all disciplines, who are interested in pursuing research or collaborative activities with partners at German universities.

Topics covered will include:

  • the German research landscape;
  • DAAD funding for faculty mobility between Canada and Germany;
  • DAAD support for programming carried out in conjunction with German university partners;activities funded by DAAD and other German funding agencies (e.g. DFG – German Research Foundation, Alexander von Humboldt Foundation) currently taking place across Canada.
