Further to our earlier announcement (http://www.dal.ca/dept/research-services/opportunities/opportunities-announcements-news/news/2014/08/18/cfp__in_stream_tidal_energy.html), the Offshore Energy Research Association of Nova Scotia (OERA) and the Technology Strategy Board (TSB) in the United Kingdom have now released a preliminary list of registrants interested in their call for collaborative R&D projects to develop enhanced sensing technologies for tidal in-stream energy applications. The purpose of the registry is to allow interested parties to stay connected, share information about the call, and explore transatlantic partnering opportunities through sharing of registrant profiles.
Registration lists and more information are available at: http://www.oera.ca/news/requests-for-proposals-funding/canada-and-the-united-kingdom-joint-research-competition-registrant-lists/
To learn more about the scope of the competition and eligibility guidelines, please refer to the following link: http://www.oera.ca/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/Scope-Elig.-Documents-FINAL.08Aug-2014.pdf
Any faculty member interested in this opportunity is asked to register his/her interest with OERA. S/he should also contact the relevant Grant Facilitator in Dalhousie Research Services (either Meghan.Wagstaff@dal.ca or Sara.Lavender@dal.ca), for support in preparing an application.
