Key Services and Information
Orientation
An employee orientation is held the last Friday of each month (except July and December). This is a great opportunity to learn more about the university, as well as meet other new employees.
Register online for an orientation session, or call 494-1115 to find out when the next one will be scheduled. If you are a new faculty member, you can also register to attend the New Academic Staff Orientation.
Keeping Informed
As an employee, there are many ways to keep informed of university news, events, and lectures.
- Dal News is the central hub for campus information.
- MyDal is an internal portal (log in using your NetID and password) that provides faculty, staff, and students personalized information such as email, calendar, and targeted announcements.
- Notice Digest, the university’s daily electronic bulletin, is delivered to your email inbox when you sign up.
