Whether making your first career choices or thinking about career changes, a Career Counsellor can help you increase your self-confidence and sense of direction.
Finding a job
Whether you’re looking for part-time employment while studying at Dal or preparing to enter the workplace after graduation, the Career Services Centre can help you refine your job-hunting skills, tailor your résumé and get you primed for interviews. As a Dalhousie student, you’ll have access to thousands of exclusive job postings for part-time and summer jobs, internships and full-time positions for after graduation.
Volunteering
Volunteering is an excellent way to gain valuable experience and develop transferable skills. The Career Services Centre can connect you to volunteer opportunities with over 200 organizations throughout Halifax including positions right here on campus. The Volunteer Fair, held annually, is also a chance to discover all kinds of opportunities.
