Check your registration status
What it tells you
Your status page tells you when you can register, whether or not there are any holds on your account and if you have any special registration permissions or overrides.
To check your registeration status:
- Login to Dal Online
- Click on Registration > Check Your Registration Status
- You'll arrive at the Select Term page, pictured here:
- Most students should choose the fall term. The regular term is only for Dentistry and Medicine students.
When you can register for classes
Make note of your registration time slot(s). You can register online within the date range specified.
Holds on your account
If you see the message "You have Holds which prevent registration," go to the bottom of the page and select the "View Holds" link. The most common hold is "Deposit Required."
Registration permissions and overrides
If you have any special registration permissions or overrides, such as permission to register for a class from a waitlist, these will appear on this page. This does not mean that you are registered for the class. You still need to add the class through Dal Online.
