Selecting/Registering for Classes

When you can register

First-year students

Class registration for the 2013/14 academic year opens at noon (Atlantic Time) on June 8, 2013, but you can begin to develop a tentative schedule in March. Be sure to read through the First-year Students and Before you Begin sections for important steps that need to be completed prior to selecting and registering for classes.

Returning/new transfer students

Registration for the 2013/14 academic year opens in March 2013. See the important dates calendar for details.

Note: Although you may register early for classes for next year, if you do not achieve the minimum grade required in a pre-requisite that you are currently taking, your registration in the upper-year class will be cancelled and you will be notified by email.

All students should refer to the Before You Begin section to ensure you have completed all of the steps necessary before registering for classes.

When does registration close?

The last day to register for classes varies depending on the term the class is in. Please check the Important Dates calendar for details.
