Student Dispute Resolution

Helping students, community and campus partners

The Office of Student Dispute Resolution works collaboratively with students, community and campus partners, to help resolve disputes in a restorative and respectful manner. Referrals come from four sources:

• Dalhousie Campus Security
  
• Code of Conduct Complaints – via the Office of the Vice President, Student Services
• Halifax Regional Police and the Crown Prosecutors Office – as part of the Dalhousie Restorative Justice Pilot Project
• Residence Life Managers

The Office of Student Dispute Resolution follows three main principles when working with groups to help restore relationships and find satisfactory resolutions:
