Admissions

The Faculty of Graduate Studies sets the minimum admission standards that are required for entry into graduate programs. Individual departments may require additional qualifications of their candidates, and enrollment limitations usually mean that successful applicants possess qualifications that considerably exceed the minimum requirements.

How to apply

  1. Complete the graduate application form (online or print).
  2. Proof of English language proficiency [PDF - 57k]
  3. Submit supporting documents to the academic department:
    1. All post-secondary academic transcripts.
    2. Reference letters.
    3. GMAT, GRE portfolio, etc. as required by your department.

Process of Admission

Dalhousie University will verify any information provided by the applicant, including letters of reference and transcripts. The initial application evaluation process is conducted by the department, who then makes their recommendation to the Faculty of Graduate Studies whereby the final decision is made and a formal offer of admission is signed and sent out by the Registrar of Dalhousie University.
