Description: Therapeutic Recreation involves using recreation and leisure experiences to improve or maintain an individual's physical, mental, emotional and social functioning. Therapeutic recreation services are offered in various treatment, residential and community-based health and human service agencies for people of all ages.

Four-year degree program with a 12-week internship.
Program provides students with the theoretical and practical skills to work in a variety of settings
Students are prepared to write the certification exam from the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification (NCTRC) to become a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS)
