Description: Psychology is the study of animal and human behaviour and the neural mechanisms regulating behaviour. As a science, psychology strives to understand behaviour through observation and experimentation. As a profession, psychology promotes human welfare through personal counselling and the clinical treatment of behaviour problems. Our programs provide students with a broad exposure to contemporary psychology and afford them an opportunity to focus on specific areas of psychology such as neuropsychological, developmental, clinical, cognitive, and social psychology.

Psychology provides a good background for application to professional programs such as Law, Medicine, Human Communication Disorders, and Social Work
