Description: Studying law is stimulating, intellectually demanding and fun. Highly motivated students will develop advanced communication skills and problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in legal research. Dalhousie's Faculty of Law - one of the oldest in the country - offers comprehensive areas of study including the most extensive offering of marine and environmental law in Canada. Dalhousie is also a leader in community law, having created Canada's first legal aid clinic. Working in the clinic provides students with opportunities to gain real-life experience while earning a degree.
