Description: Kinesiology is the study of the human body, how it moves and functions, especially as it relates to health, athletic ability, fitness and well-being. Students prepare for a career that focuses on helping people improve their health and may decide to specialize in one of three streams: fitness and lifestyle, ergonomics, or coaching science. With many faculty members actively engaged in research, students learn through participation both in the classroom and the laboratory.
