Student exchange opportunties offered through the English Department
Many students choosing to do a double major or double honours in creative writing often choose English as their primary subject area. If you choose English, you could take advantage of the English Department's student exchange program with the University of Newcastle in Newcastle-upon-Tyne in Northen England.
The School of English at Newcastle covers literature of all periods: British, American, and Post-Colonial, with a special strength in children's literature, linguistics, film, and creative writing. Faculty teach their own research specialties, lecture, and lead seminar groups.
