DOTSS

Student Society

The Dalhousie Occupational Therapy Student Society (DOTSS) is a vibrant and active part of the school community. All registered students automatically belong to DOTSS and elect leaders and representatives. DOTSS is active in promoting occupational therapy through events such as Kids Day, participating in the interprofessional musical event called For the Health of It, and through a representative at the Nova Scotia Society of Occupational Therapists. The society is also actively involved in community fundraising. DOTSS representatives sit on all school committees, bringing the student voice to school governance. Over eight student-run committees fall under DOTSS and these committees vary widely in their interests and goals. Students are encouraged to join at least one committee as it enriches one's university experience.

DOTSS is housed in room 218 of the Forrest building, but you can also learn more about DOTSS by getting in touch with one of the executives.
