Overview
While our program provides training opportunities to people working at undergraduate, graduate and post-doctoral levels, ASPIRE’s main focus is on PhD students.
Our program prepares you to meet the emerging needs of the nanotechnology and nanophotonics industries by taking you through a training cycle that will enable you to:
- Acquire broad academic knowledge via university courses and structured laboratory exercises
- Gain deep theoretical, experimental and technological expertise by undertaking international internships at world-leading institutes and centres
- Secure placements at industrial facilities where you’ll learn about nanotechnology-related engineering, commercialization, product development and marketing – along with how to run a business in this sector.
Meanwhile, you’ll also take part in our program’s annual seminars – a forum for industry experts from around the world and, as such, an excellence chance to develop a global network.
