Positive improvements to campus – one project at a time
With a continual demand for space and a variety of academic, research, administrative, residence and student needs, Dalhousie has been very busy with its campus renewal efforts. The university is working hard to make positive improvements to keep the campus up-to-date, clean and beautiful for all of its students, faculty, staff, visitors and neighbours.
Strong commitment to campus renewal
Recently completed projects include:
- Mona Campbell Building ($30 M)
- Tupper Link renovation to equip two theatres with technology to provide distance education to Dalhousie Medical School’s New Brunswick campus ($7.4 M)
- Life Sciences Research Institute ($65 M)
- Life Sciences Centre Retrofit ($28.7 M)
Projects currently underway include:
- Oceans Excellence Centre ($30 M)
- Aquatron Project ($4.6 M)
Projects being actively planned include:
- LeMarchant Street Mixed Use Building ($48 M)
- Interprofessional Health Building (Budget: To be determined)
- Wallace McCain Learning Commons ($6 M)
- Weldon Law Exterior (Budget: To be determined)
- Campus Lighting Upgrades (Budget: To be determined)
- Tri-Gen Project (Budget: To be determined)
