Within walking distance from campus you'll find art galleries, museums, theatres, festivals, sporting events, lively pubs and quaint cafés. There is no need for a car in Halifax as a bus pass is included in your tuition (especially for those rainy days).

The weather in Halifax is quite temperate, but our proximity to the ocean means that weather can change rapidly. While sunny days are common, don't forget to come prepared for wind, rain and fog. 

When you live in Halifax you are never far from nature with the ocean only 300 metres from campus. This means sailing and other water sports are enjoyed through spring, summer and fall, with surfing being popular year-round. You will also find many green spaces, hiking trails and parks all within walking distance from campus. There are many outdoor activities at your fingertips no matter the season.
