Academic Support
Get the assistance you need to reach your goals
Academic support on the Agricultural Campus ranges from tutoring to disability support functions. If you find you're struggling with your studies, simply seek out our help.
Agricultural Campus Registry Office
Services offered by the Registry are available at the Admissions & Enrolment Services Office located in the Cox Institute on the Dalhousie Agricultural Campus.
Academic Advising
One of the many ways we attempt to maximize your success as a student is by assigning you an academic advisor. All students are assigned an academic advisor and should meet with this advisor during Academic Orientation in September. The name of your advisor is listed in your student profile on the Student Information System (SIS) in September.

Writing Centre
The Writing Centre is located on the main floor in the Library. If you need help organizing and reviewing your written assignments, the Writing Centre can help with papers or labs in any of your courses. If you are an International Student who would like practice in grammar & English pronunciation, we offer non-credit courses on Monday/Wednesday and Tuesday/Thursday from 5 to 6 p.m. during the fall and winter terms. The cost is $50 for each 10-week course.
If you'd like to schedule an appointment or you're interested in volunteering, visit the Writing Centre or email Marg.Rovers@Dal.ca.
